Unexpected Quake

Ok... so I've seen that this blog has been coming up in google search since people have become more intrigued with Earth's movements.  So... I'll try to update it as much as I can.  Please feel free to comment and add if necessary ... here's an update for some of the recent activities.

August:

*August 22, 2011

Colorado: 4.6 magnitude quake

*August 23, 2011

Virginia: 5.8 magnitude quake.  The epicenter is located in or near Mineral, VA.  This quake could be felt beyond Fairfax, VA (about 84 miles from Mineral, VA).  Aftershocks were reported at around 1am.

Colorado: 5.3 magnitude quake.

I spoke a little more about the VA quake since I was there to experience it.  It's been awhile since I've experienced a quake.  I (along with the rest of the VA population) had mixed feelings of confusion and excitement.  Thank goodness that there were no injuries.

September:

Colorado saw it's first snowfall of the season.  Good news for skiers and snowboarders!!  :)
